Mahmoud Durid

NGO Coordinator

He is an operational and public relations manager with a key focus on maintaining relationships with domestic, international clients, and employees. Mahmoud believes he can add value to the company he works for by his multitude, managerial, and planning skills to contribute to the overall success of the organization. In addition, Mahmoud is currently working as an operational manager at Safa Development association that seeks to achieve integration with humanitarian institutions and organizations that aim at supporting the Syrian refugee community in Turkey and around the globe. He also is working as a manager of public relations in Vision Medical which provides medical tourism services, such as artificial eyes, for foreign
patients coming from Turkey and abroad. He is also a Turkish language translator in hospitals and government departments.

Rima Al-Zoubi

Data Collector

Rima is an employee at Safa Development Association in the Social Center for Training and Rehabilitation. There, she supports and empowers women as well as supervises orphans. She has previous experience in the secretarial field for two years at IHH In one of the centers of Al Ber Society for Social Services. Moreover, Rima worked on the files of orphans in the northern countryside of Homs for the benefit of Bader Association and she experience in arranging the human rights work file (female and male detainees) for the negotiation body at the Geneva Conference.

Reem Gramo

Data Collector

Reem was the founder and director of the Syrian Arab Kindergarten in Turkey from 2016 to 2018. She graduated from University of Aleppo, Faculty of Arts, with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language. She also has undergone several courses in the field of education. Moreover, Reem was a teacher for all primary, preparatory and secondary levels in Syria and in Turkey. She was also a founding member of the Syrians Without Borders relief and development team 2020. Furthermore, Reem participated in most of the campaigns that took place in the city of Reyhanli to relief the displaced in Idlib and some Syrian cities. She is currently working as an Arabic language teacher for orphans at Safa Development Association.

Alaa Ali Assaf

Alaa is a manager of Mayar Institute for Orphan Girls and Fanateer Al-Sham Program for Orphan Care in Konya in addition to participating in remote work as Secretary of the Girls’ Office at Hayat Association and a manager of Qotouf Program for Teaching the Holy Quran. She has previous experience working in orphan centers in more than one field such as being a social supervisor at Rayaheen Al-Sham Center in 2015. Moreover, Alaa worked in the secretarial field at the Institute of Al Huda Sciences from 2014 to 2016 and as a teacher in the field of training for Microsoft Office and Photoshop programs for women from 2015 to 2019. She graduated from the University of Aleppo with a bachelor’s degree in information technology engineering and diploma in human resources management.

Asmaa Ali Alshawah

Data Collector

Asmaa is the founder of Fanateer Al-Sham for orphan care in 2016, Ayat Center for memorizing the Holy Quran for males in 2015, and Tulip Beauty and Sports Center in Konya om 2017. In addition, she worked on establishing and managing a kindergarten in Syria from 2008 to 2011. Asmaa focuses on her field of work to help orphans and widows and establish them educationally and socially. She is currently working as the general supervisor of Fanateer Al-Sham program for orphan care, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mayar International Orphan Organization, and the General Supervisor of Tulip Beauty and Sports Center. Moreover, she worked as a preacher in the Turkish Iftaa in 2016, and as the principal of Al-Sarraj School of Turkish Education in Konya from 2014 to 2015. She graduated from the Institute of Al-Daawah for Islamic Studies with a bachelor’s degree in Sharia and a diploma in educational qualification.
