Providing Assistance to Refugees During Covid-19

In refugee camps and urban settlements throughout the Middle East, decreasing the threat of COVID-19 infection is critical to the work of non-governmental organizations. Our project uses a partnership of universities and humanitarian NGOs to identify where gaps in protecting refugees exists, and how we can fill those gaps.

Our Team

Meet our team of researchers and service providers from Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan, and the United States dedicated to understanding the barriers to safe practices that reduce the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the “novel coronavirus”). We are studying social distancing practices, hand washing, mask wearing, and other practices that would help slow down the spread of viruses during refugee humanitarian interventions.
